Cento

Cento is an Italian restaurant located in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, at 122 W Mifflin St. The restaurant combines Old World Italian traditions with modern techniques.

The menu features handmade pasta, slow-roasted meats, and pizza from a wood-burning oven. Diners can watch the staff prepare their meals in the open-style kitchen. Some of the dishes include Bucatini alla Carbonara, Chicken Parmesan, and Margherita pizza.

The bar program offers a variety of cocktails, including Negronis and spritz, as well as vermouth on tap. The wine list is Italian-forward, with options such as Rosé and Orange wines. The restaurant also has a Kitchen Table where guests can have an up-close look into the bustling kitchen.

Cento offers a three-course theater menu for $50 per person, available before select Overture show performances and after Sunday matinees. The menu includes options such as Warm Marinated Olives, Mixed Greens, and Tiramisu.

In addition to its dinner menu, Cento also serves brunch on weekends, with dishes such as Butcher Board, Two Eggs Over Easy, and Avocado Toast. The restaurant also offers a boozy brunch option for $40 per person, which includes a house pastry, two brunch cocktails, and an entrée.
