L'Etoile Restaurant

L'Etoile Restaurant serves French-inspired American fare, wine, and cocktails in an airy venue on the capital square in Madison, Wisconsin. The restaurant's upscale farm-to-table approach has been in place since its founding by Odessa Piper.

In 2005, Chef de Cuisine Tory Miller took over the restaurant, continuing its tradition of supporting Wisconsin farmers and encouraging young farmers to explore heirloom varieties and heritage breed animals.

By supporting local farmers and artisan producers, the restaurant has a direct impact on the community, strengthening local economies and promoting health and wellness. Seasonal field trips to local farms are also organized, and employees are encouraged to know where ingredients are sourced.

The team behind L'Etoile includes Chef Tory Miller, Executive Chef and Co-Proprietor, Dianne Christensen, Co-Proprietor, Kristine Miller, Operations Manager and Pastry Chef, and Michael Kwas, Wine Director, who together provide a tasting menu, à la carte options, and a full wine list.
